About Tim Baker

Background + Experience
Born and raised in the small Midwest city of Brookings, South Dakota, Tim moved to Oregon in 1981 to pursue an education at the University of Oregon. Baker earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, graduating in 1989. Tim was licensed as a CPA in 1991 and worked for a large regional accounting firm in both Portland and Coos Bay for five years prior to a two year stint as a controller for a successful, family-owned Portland retail/wholesale business. He later launched his own accounting firm in 1996.

Tim is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA .

Photography
He is an avid sports fan and accomplished photographer who often spends weekends exploring the landscapes and natural settings of Oregon’s great outdoors as seen through the lens of his Nikon camera.
